Who can take a classes?

Anyone!   We have students of all ages, races, beliefs, and fashion styles.  That’s what makes our school so amazing.  You’ll take classes with the most eclectic group of interesting inquisitive folks you have ever imagined.  Please join us!

How much do classes cost?

It depends upon the class, and the charge for each class is listed in our class catalog.  Classes start at $5, and that $5 goes to the administrative costs of the school.  Any charge above $5 goes to compensating the teacher for their time & effort and to covering the cost of any materials supplied by the teacher for the class.  Most of our classes are very inexpensive.

Do I get a grade?

NO.  No.  No.    That’s way to too much pressure.  Our classes are very low pressure.  If you want a grade or credit towards a degree we have a number of very fine formal education venues in the Greater Topeka area who can help you.  If you want to learn something, have fun, meet people who share similar interest, and grow as a person and community, then take classes through The People’s School!

Where will my class be held?

We have a number of community partners who have offered class space to The People’s School.   The location of each class is listed in the Class Catalog with the class description.

What if my class is canceled?

Classes are occasionally canceled.  Classes can be canceled because of lack of interest, weather, illness.  In each case, we’ll contact you as soon as we know about the cancellation and refund your enrollment fee.

Have other questions?

Then contact our school director, Mr. Stacey Davis either by email or phone (785-231-9524).  He will either answer your question or find the answer and get back to you.
